• I purchased this book when my preschool class was studying worms. It's a cute story about playing in the rain, but it is NOT about worms! No explanation of why it is called worm weather.
• Such cute photos. I wish there was more of a story. They are just rhyming phrases for each picture. But since the pictures are good, they serve the function of telling a story. The pictures follow two kids as they go with their mom on a walk, through rainy puddles and off to eat and then back again. My 3yo son enjoyed the pictures, especially of the worms that I ended up getting a book that focuses on earthworms. We had a lot of fun looking for worms after the rains this spring!
• Super cute illustrations and simple text. My toddler loves it.
• Cute, simple introductory book about rain and worms. Great for 18m-3yo, though my 5 year olds don't mind reading it too.
